Josh is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on how the application of engineering concepts and technologies can be best utilised to deliver environmentally sustainable outcomes. He has experience in the design and installation of geothermal heating/cooling systems, and has recently acted as the National Solar in Schools Program installation co-ordinator for a national photovoltaic solar system installation company. He is currently also in a secondment role as Sustainability Officer at Knox City Council - assessing residential, industrial, and commercial planning permit applications against Council sustainability criteria. Josh is a certified Thermal Performance Assessor (FirstRate5), and a Green Star Accredited Professional.
Nicki Colls BEng(Env)(Hons) BA MIEAust GSAP - Senior Associate

Nicki Colls (nee Taylor) is an Environmental Engineer and has provided ESD input and direction in over 200 projects. Nicki has been an ESD consultant to integrated design teams in based in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Tasmania. She has provided ESD advice on commercial, residential, aquatic and public buildings being either new building designs, refurbishments or fit-out. Notable projects include the 500 Collins Street refurbishment, Northbank, Lacrosse and the Carlton Housing Redevelopment.
Nicki has worked with both state and local government bodies on the regulation and adoption of ESD principles in the building industry, and involves herself in research projects on a continual basis to ensure that her knowledge is current. Nicki has been involved in the training of professionals in all of her professional roles and strongly believes that communication and the translation of theory is the key to better environmental outcomes.

Elke Lindner is a Sustainability Consultant, assisting organisations with the implementation of practical solutions of Sustainability Strategies. Elke has over 15 years experience in analysing organisational processes and implementing innovative strategies within government and industry. Her experience includes project management, business analysis, utility management, knowledge management and facilitation of organisational change.
Elke has worked with various industries and with all government levels. She has experience in identifying efficiency opportunities throughout the various stages of the building life cycle including building design review, site monitoring, data evaluation, and the preparation of various reports for strategy development. She managed the development of online utility monitoring tools and the development and the implementation of ESD principles into green building toolkits such as Greenstar and STEPS.
Elke completed a Masters of Social Science in Environment and Planning in 2005, with focus on environmental management, change management, corporate sustainability, energy efficient building designs, knowledge management, emission and waste management.

Karen Corr, founder and business owner of EcoSuccess has experience in sustainability consulting, water management and environmental engineering. Karen has provided sustainability advice for resource, industrial, infrastructure and urban planning projects and has developed sustainability strategies for a number of organisations. In addition Karen has worked on a variety of projects related to the planning, management and sustainable use of water for both rural and urban systems.
Karen has been President of the Bendigo Sustainability Group since it’s inception in April 2008; is a trained facilitator of the Changing the Dream Symposium; a member of the Australian Green Infrastructure Council; a Member of Engineers Australia (EA) and a member of the EA Society for Sustainability and Environmental Engineering.
Kate Noble, BA (Hons) BSci (Environment) AIMS - Business Associate

Kate, founder of Green Spark Consulting, aims to deliver effective policy research and analysis to organisations committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact. Recent clients include Sustainability Victoria, The Climate Institute, Moreland Energy Foundation Ltd, Shire of Melton, and Western Alliance for Greenhouse Action (WAGA).
Skills and experience include expertise in environmental policy from working with government, industry and environment groups for over ten years at the local, state and federal levels. For six years, Kate developed national policy on energy efficiency, urban water, and the built environment in her role as Sustainable Cities Campaign Co-ordinator for the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF). She has highly developed skills in media, political strategy and community engagement from this work. As part of her role she initiated and chaired the Climate Change Taskforce of the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) - a group of leaders from government and the property industry. Kate has also worked for the Victorian Government as Policy Advisor at the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Victoria where she co-ordinated the Ecological Footprint Pilot program as part of her role. She has contributed to a number of Commonwealth Government expert advisory committees on water efficiency, building materials, and urban planning.
Kate regularly presents public talks and guest lectures on sustainability issues to RMIT and University of Melbourne postgraduate students, industry conferences and community events. Current research interests include zero carbon suburbs, climate change adaptation and innovative policy approaches.
